Energy Bill 2011
  Date: 20 March 2013
Venue: Jones Lang LaSalle, 30 Warwick Street, London W1B 5NH

Another piece of dull legislation? Or something that could prove business critical?
As the Government's commitment to carbon reduction gets ever more prescriptive, this important piece of legislation has significant implications for corporate occupiers by restricting their ability to let and assign commercial real estate.

By 2018 selling and letting buildings with a EPC rating of F or G will be outlawed. It will be necessary to undertake improvements to bring energy performance above an E rating. This means knowing which buildings are affected and having a plan of action in the corporate real estate strategy.

CoreNet UK Chapter and SEGRO have commissioned a piece of research that interviewed occupiers of space and the results are very enlightening for everyone.

Come and join us for our annual New Year Predictions & Resolutions Breakfast Forum and hear what our expert panel has to say.
