It is both an honor and a privilege to serve as Chair of the CoreNet Global Malaysia Chapter, with my tenure commencing on 1 April 2026. I step into this role with deep appreciation for the strong foundation that has been built and with a genuine excitement for the journey ahead.
I would like to express my heartfelt thanks to our immediate past Chair, Maheswaran Balakrishnan, for his outstanding leadership and unwavering commitment to the Chapter. Under his stewardship, the Malaysia Chapter has grown in stature, maturity, and impact. I am equally grateful to the committee members, past and present, whose dedication, passion, and countless volunteer hours have been instrumental in driving our success.
I would also like to extend my sincere appreciation to our corporate sponsors for their continued trust and support, which enables us to deliver meaningful and high-quality programs. To our members, thank you for your ongoing engagement and participation—you are truly the heart of this Chapter.
As we look ahead, my focus will be on strengthening our community by ensuring our programs and conversations remain relevant to an evolving corporate real estate landscape. By fostering collaboration across occupiers, service providers, and industry partners, the Chapter will continue to serve as a trusted platform for shared learning, meaningful dialogue, and professional growth.
