Since its inception, New Hope Housing has been recognized as the model for safe, affordable, debt-free single room occupancy (SRO) housing in the State of Texas. Owning and managing now almost 1,000 units of supportive SRO housing, which serves adults living singly, New Hope is expanding its mission to serve homeless and at-risk families, most typically single mothers. The organization is in pre-development to construct 187 units of 1-, 2-, and 3-bedroom apartments with more than 6,000 SF of shared spaces for critical onsite support services. This new community is to be located adjacent to an emergency services campus off Highway 288 and Reed Road.
New Hope is grateful for CoreNet's long-standing allegiance to its Housing + Services mission and for helping serve our city's most vulnerable. Through their annual golf tournament, CoreNet Houston has enjoyed a 12-year giving relationship with New Hope Housing, with donations to date totaling $431,300.
