A Message from Chapter President, Michael Dunford:
In the wake of the tragic death of George Floyd, our thoughts are with his family, friends and all those who have pointlessly endured racism, injustice, and inequality in this country. This is a time for action and demonstration, as well as a time to come together and listen to one other.
As a chapter, diversity, inclusivity, and equity are top priorities for us and an ethos that guides our actions. Through diversity of educational programs, chapter leadership, and mentorship initiatives, we will continue to strive towards making a positive impact on our community.
However, we acknowledge that we NEED TO DO MORE, and that starts with listening. The entire CoreNet Washington Board of Directors wants to hear your feedback, ideas, and to engage in further dialogue around these issues. Please reach out to us.
As chapter President, I will also commit to strengthening our initiatives and programming around diversity and inclusion. In the coming days and weeks, you will see follow-up information from our chapter around the important work we must do together. In these historic times, let us move towards peace and an equitable and just world.

A Message from the Washington State Chapter of CoreNet Global:

As we are all aware, the COVID-19 coronavirus has hit our communities in Washington state particularly hard. Our thoughts and condolences go out to those who have been affected. As chapter leaders, we are complying with the Governor’s “Stay Home, Stay Safe” order, and are paying close attention to guidance provided by national and global health professionals.
Because of this, we have decided to switch all of our in-person events to virtual programs until further notice. From webinar panel discussions to virtual coffee and happy hour meetings, we are finding ways to engage with our community, support our sponsors, and add value to our members.
As always, the well-being of our CoreNet Global community, from event attendees, guest speakers, and staff on-site, is of the utmost importance to us. We are committed to creating a safe environment for real estate professionals to connect, learn, grow, and belong. We thank you for your understanding and partnership during this time.
