Data Centres Demystified. A Science, Innovation & Technology Community Event (SIT)

When:  Jul 16, 2026 from 08:00 AM to 10:00 AM (UTC)
Associated with  United Kingdom

This session demystifies data centres - what they are, how they work, and the role they play in enabling global business operations. It will provide a clear view of industry trends, delivery models, and key decisions organisations must make around ownership, cost, and lifecycle.

Following the event, attendees will also have the opportunity to tour Victoria House.

Developed by Oxford Properties and Pioneer Group, Victoria House is a 300,000 sq ft facility redefining London’s science and technology landscape. The building brings together lab-enabled, fully fitted and incubator laboratory space, serviced offices and highly technical infrastructure designed to support the full lifecycle of life sciences companies, multinational pharmaceutical and biotechnology businesses, academic research institutions, government agencies and venture capital firms.
