Built inside and atop of the original 1930s St. John's rail terminal, Google’s new home allowed the company to double its NYC workforce. The highly anticipated office opening features neighborhood-style seating, expansive work lounges, cafes, terraces, micro-kitchens, and a diverse range of work settings. Pushing innovation in sustainability and green space, St. John’s Terminal has 1.5 acres of vegetation at the street level and access to the High Line and surrounding public parks. Google's St. John's Terminal space is a balanced nod to the 90-year history of the rail terminal and an exciting glimpse at the future of workplace communities.
