Summits are my favorite time of year at CoreNet Global. Not because of the long hours or long walks, but because of the opportunity for me to reconnect with what I think of as "my members". As the Member Services Coordinator I have the pleasure of speaking with members everyday, but only at Summits do I get to meet so many face to face. Of course you come to see me at the booth because you know you can win something, but the opportunity to put faces with names, and to show you in person the many benefits available makes it all worth it.
Lucky for all of us, The NetWORK provides a substitution for this face to face interaction. With the opportunity to put up so much information about yourself (including a picture) we can feel like we have met in person without actually doing so. Working together and asking questions is easier when you feel comfortable, and the profiles on The NetWORK allow us to reach that comfort level. Of course there is no substitution for the face to face meetings, and I will always prefer these, but remember to log into The NetWORK to complete your profile to enrich your sense of belonging and get to know your fellow members.
