Managing energy use and carbon emissions is increasingly common for businesses and other organizations. CoreNet Global, in partnership with Johnson Controls, invites you to this webinar to hear the results of a recent survey in which over 130 corporate real estate professionals shared what their organizations are doing to measure and manage energy use and carbon emissions in the facilities they own and occupy
Upcoming Learning Events
This project will be the third in a series of collaborative work between CoreNet Global and Johnson Controls, all exploring the concept of energy and carbon management from the perspective of decision-makers in commercial facilities.
While the first two surveys explored the respondents’ attitudes about climate science, policy and priorities, this survey focused on action – the practices applied by real estate and facility managers to monitor and manage energy consumption, plans and approaches to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, intentions to implement energy-saving approaches in the future. While legislative and regulatory aspects will play a role in these decisions, they are not the key emphasis of the survey. Instead, the challenge will be to learn what respondents and their organizations are doing with respect to energy and carbon management, and possible changes in these trends going forward.
